As other reviewers indicated, go 2 sizes larger. One size larger and it will be doing it's job as intended as a compression garment. Even at 2 sizes, I need help to escape from it. I am using it for dance competitions, so have to alter it for no logos showing. UA, you are missing an entire market that needs high quality garments without logos. It is great for showing every ripple. FYI: Tight body fit garments are never cool. Athlete's generate a lot of heat and trapping it at the skin does not help. I don't understand how this marketing verbiage ever makes it to the public.
Love the UA compression gear — this mock turtle-neck shirt is perfect for layering. It’s definitely part of my cold-weather outfits.
A nice top, fit is good and comfort great, I would definitely buy again in in a different color.
Go with medium, and see the reactions you get! We're the same size, I just bought 2 white ones and love all the attention this one shirt brings!
The Men's HeatGear® Armour Mock Sleeveless does have a compression fit, but also has a significant amount of stretch and should fit comfortably around the neck!
